Article in the Australian newspaper, Monday November 16 2009

17 Nov 2009

Dear Shareholder or follower of Compumedics

As the Company has noted in previous correspondence it is pursuing distinct growth paths for its core diagnostic business and its Medical Innovation Division break-out technologies, the latter including its sleep-treatment technology.

The article appearing in the Australian newspaper (attached) on 16th November 2009 was focused on the opportunity for the Company’s new sleep-treatment technology and device – the SomniLink® SPAP®.

In relation to the sleep-treatment technology, the Company has been, and will continue, pursuing all logical and appropriate opportunities to enable the SomniLink® SPAP® sleep-treatment device to achieve its full commercial potential.

Parallel to these activities, the Company continues to focus on, and invest in, the organic and other growth options for its existing core medical diagnostic device business.  This business incorporates the Company’s sleep diagnostic device business as well as neurological monitoring devices (including brain research devices) and the ultrasonic blood-flow business.

The Company will continue to up-date you and the market more generally as material matters arise and provide the up-date and article for your information.
